Trouble with panel in dashboard
Hey!
I have a chevrolet blazer LT1999
I have problems with temperature and fuel meters. They show no solid engine is hot and I have fuel in the tank.
The charging lamp is lit as it loads as it should.
I can not connect to the data device (vcm) via the obd2 socket.
I have tried the obd2 reader in another car where it works properly.
All fuses are all, I have tried to change the panel but with the same error.
The cord up to the meters and obd2 socket is intact.
The car is working as it should.

Did both gauges fail simultaneously or separately? If seperately, then maybe the gauge clusters might have to be replaced. However you said there is also an issue with the vcm (or perhaps the ecm?) that could be the source of the problem. Best I can offer, hopefully someone else can give better advice.
