I have a 1995 chevy Blazer and it will not run. I just put a spider(fuel injectors), fuel pump, gas tank, fuel filter,distributor, spark plugs, wires, and a starter. When I crank the car up it back fires and sputters.and after around 10-15 minutes it just dies.The truck does nothing it says nothing just diesPLEASE HELP ME!!! iI AM AT MY END WITH THIS TRUCK. I LOVE MY TRUCK.I AM A WOMAN AND KNOW NOTHING ABOUT CARS. I read that it could be my EGR valve. If you know anything or just have some advice please tell me.

Check out our thread right around this one about EGR valve. Symptoms are very similar. Maybe worth looking at. A word of caution, AZ fetches 150 for the part with replacement warranty, but my clogged right back up so I'm looking into the reason for carbon build-up on inside my engine. Did you do your other work? Was that work done for this problem or did it start occuring after??

 

Have someone look at your distributor main shaft "pole peice" The magnet on the top used for the pick up coil could be cracked. It is hard to see but you can see a hairline crack in it if you look close. This wll make your engine not want to start and if it does, it will run poorly and stall.
