Turn signals
I'd go have a look at the bulbs again just to be sure. There are multiple bulbs in the circuit that have to illuminate to properly load the flasher module allowing for normal flash pattern. The easiest way to make sure that all of the bulbs are working as required is to have someone inside the truck turn on the left then right turn signals while you watch the side that works & compare directly to the side that doesn't, looking at each bulb.
If everything checks out, then it may be a problem internal to the multifunction switch as PF has referred to. Check out the Tech Article (DIY) section for some threads on how to fix the hazard switch without overspending (if that is your problem).

Glad you got it fixed! It always pays to take a second or third look, comparing side to side to make sure that all of the bulbs are illuminating properly. Just one of those little bulbs being out can cause the hyper flash! Best to make sure bulbs are not the issue before diving deeper into it!
