Turn Signals Not Working
#11
I'm about ready to lose it with this thing! I was able to get things working normally again by wedging a small piece of cardboard behind the hazard switch but now that remedy is no longer working. I'm back to no break lights (except the center LED) and no blinkers.
Is it possible that the contacts inside the steering column are dirty, causing the new hazard switch to work improperly? I don't know what to do. I'd hate to take it to a repair shop if it's just dirty contacts...

Your whole multifunction switch is likely to blame. If the new hazard switch doesn't cure the problem, the damage went further than just the hazard switch and the multifunction switch needs to be replaced.

I must agree...
The problem is most definitely your multifunction switch. I had the same problem with mine. I had no blinkers, and no brake lights. The only way I could get them to work was to wedge a screw in between the hazard switch. Well, this only worked for about a year, and then I was forced to buy a new multifunction switch. The problem has never reoccurred since.
