Upgraded Radiator Recommendations
Hi all,
About 6 years ago I installed an Engineered Cooling Products all aluminum radiator. I kept the original non-electric fan and had the radiator modified for the remote engine oil cooler lines.
A few years in I had a small leak that I was able to fix quite well with JB Weld. Sadly, those repairs have apparently failed and now I'm thinking that instead of trying to repair it again, I might as well get a new one and this time go with the electric fans.
Since it has been 6 years, I thought I'd ask for recommendations for any other manufacturers of aluminum radiators people can recommend.
The only places I have found so far that have radiators with the connections for both the engine oil and trans fluid cooling lines are the following:

The only places I have found so far that have radiators with the connections for both the engine oil and trans fluid cooling lines are the following:
- Superior Radiator (https://www.wwwsuperiorradiator.com/s10_v-8)
- Performance Cooling (https://www.performancecooling.com/3...ne-conversion/)
- Champion Radiators (https://www.championradiators.com/Ch...ator-1982-2002) [these are listed out of stock at the moment]
If you are wanting just the stock radiator but all aluminum . I got mine from Rock Auto a year or so ago . Just got tired of little seeping at plastic tanks that seemed to always be an issue . I believe it was listed as made by Leland Global . But it’s all aluminum with connections for oil / trans and was about $200 . So far had no issues with it

How was the installation? Was there any mods you had to do to fit it in?
I don’t remember any problems installing it . If I remember correctly it was simple pull old one out and it dropped right into the bottom grommet mounts and top and shroud went right back on. Only issue I remember is me breaking tinnerman clip for a shroud bolt which I temporarily zip tied together and a year later it’s still holding
. I think it had the line quick connectors for the oil and tranny lines included also.
Mine is a 2000 4wd auto trans , all stock
