idk autozone ran a test on the alternator and said its only drawing 12 volts and thats at idle and the guy said mabey there is a inline fuse from one of the wires that come off the alternator that could be blown the alternator is perfect the battrey is brand new its low cuze i had to drive an hour on it to get it home what could be the problkem its a 2000 blazer 4wd

any ideas guys i am stumped is there a fuse on the battery wire or somewhere i am lost for words i just want my blazer back

 

I would suggest you disconnect all of the wiring to the alternator as well as the battery to ensure that everything is proper. Test continuity on all of the wiring as well.
