Default RE: Water pump replacement

Well job completed!

All went well with the exception of the fan.

As noted by Zero Psi.

Disconnect the neg battery cable.
Removed the air cleaner and hose.
Pull the top of the fan shroud off.
Using a BIG 1 1/2 adjustable and 2.5 LBS hammer I loosened the clutch fan.
Removed the Fan.
Removed the belt
Removed the water pump pulley
Removed the pully above the water pump, easier access to top hoses.
Drained rad via nipple on bottom left...very messy.
Pulled hoses off pump.
Removed 4 bolts on pump.
Clean block.
Applied gasket glue and gasket.
Installed new pump, hoses.
Reinstalled pullies.
Installed new belt.
Installed Fan.
Installed Shroud.
Installed air box.
Reconnected battery.
Filled rad, started, leak checked.
Topped rad.
Went to Beer store.

Thanks for all the help. Total time was about 3 hours.

Mark.
