I have a 99 blazer and if it sits for a while it starts fine, but if i drive it some where, shut it off for a little bit and try to start again, it acts like it's not getting fuel and i have to press peddle to start sometimes. Well today, i let it sit for a hour and start it again and before it started it made a loud pop noise and i could feel it by the driver side floor and then it started. What is the problem?

 

it backfired. You felt it in the exhaust.

 

Mine does the exact same thing. I'm replacing a bunch of fuel delivery stuff, injectors, throttle body this weekend.
