umm...how do i know which way is which as far as the temp door and actuator?

ok..so i just went outside and with the top off the old actuator i plugged it in. every thing inside moves but it moves constant non stop in one direction no matter where the heating/cooling **** is turned. i turned the key off, pulled the fuse, waited like 30 sec, reinserted the fuse and turned the key back on...still the same thing

is it supposed to turn one way constantly?

i never checked that when i had mine off, but it should turn both ways when you flip the **** from full hot to full cold. i would say that the motor is no good.
