Where is the AC Drain

Default Where is the AC Drain

Can somebody tell me where the AC drain is on 2000 blazer LT. Please if some could tell me and post a picture that would be amazing, I will even tattoo your username on my arm with a a heart around it. please and thank u

Above the frame on the passenger side where the HVAC housing under the hood meets the firewall. It'll be the lowest point. It is best seen with the inner fender removed.

I looked for mine when I did my heater core. Had the inner fender out and could not find the drain anywhere on the box.

It's there. It isn't a tube or anything, just a slot in the plastic where it meets the firewall at the lowest point of the outer HVAC box.

Think I could fab up a good drain with some vacuum hose and a nipple?

You could, but the factory drain is in the lowest part of the system. You really don't need a nipple or vacuum hose. Just drill another small hole.

I'd concentrate on cleaning the factory spot. Once you know where to look, it isn't that difficult to find.

how do i clean it, do i just i pull back the plastic and wash it out

I used a portion of welding wire with a small hook on the end fished up through the factory hole. Some compressed air helps as well.
