Default will it pass somg

I have a 2000 blazer 4x4
I have been trying to fix a P1035 for a long time with no luck however the light is off on the dash but the code is still in there, ALL MIL have passed and say ok or n/a.

My smog is due soon what are my odds of it passing in this condition?

Thanks,

Alex

if you just cleared the code yourself they will know. the vehicle will have to go through its drive cycle to clear all the emissions codes. even at work if we replaces something emissions related half the time you cant just fix it and clear the code and they can go get it tested, they have to drive it for a day or so to reset the light itself.

you can try, out here we get like 3 tries before you have a issue

Do you mean p0135? If so that pertains to an o2 sensor problem I believe. Anyway I don't know which state you are in but phoenix Az has pretty tough emissions standards (where I live) and as long as the SES light is NOT on it will pass. They only scan the OBD II to make sure the SES isn't on and the bulb is burned out on the dash or disabled by the owner. Stored codes have no bearing on test results here anyway. A drive cycle for my 99 is, I believe 4 consecutive drive cycles up to operating temp. I would drive it for a day or two before running it through emissions. Hope that helps.

Try it out see if it passes. In az you get one free one after your first failure. Should pass if the SES light is off just make sure you buy a new gas cap and put it on before the test. Number 1 reason for failure in az. Good luck.
