Yeah I know thats right, why GM made the closed bell housing design on 96 and up tranny`s is beyond my comprehension. If it wasnt for that I wouldnt be as much fun I guess LOL.

Default Well Like most of the advice that was.......

given to me through this site I just decided that I will at least finish putting it back together.I have alot of time and effort expended in this project so far.Yeah I have had some set backs along the way which bum me out at times.Given the circumstances Im sure its normal to feel this way.I have came along ways since this project began and to throw it away at this point isnt an option.Eventualy I expect this project to be finished, just when eventualy will be I have no idea.I have a goal set and Im good at reaching them when I set my mind to it.

Question Battle of the Tcase

After taking a day off from working on my Jimmy today I went to try and tackle the installation process of the tcase.Sheesh what a job and fighting me all the way just like the darn tranny did. This is a time I wish I could afford to buy a nice tranny jack cause my peice of crap jack is cutting it.I have a problem of trying to balance it and running out of lift with my jack.My strap broke when I was using it on the trans so I couldnt use that idea today.IDK if Im using the wrong approach or not but Im trying to get the tailshaft over the crossmember and then slide it to the end of the tranny.Am I doing this wrong and is there another approach I should try? Thanks in advance.
