You just need a long bar/rod/stick to push down on the tensioner. I used pipe
I went with a Goodyear Gatorback...Id heard alot of good things about them, and havnt had a problem with mine. I havnt heard of Wix belts though...I know they do oil filters..hah..

If the wix is really what the napa gold belt is then its not that good, my old one squeaked alot after a few years with very low miles. I also put on a gatorback which seems great absolutly silent, now I notice all my other noises.

I worked at a Parts Plus for a while and we sold Good Year belts and some Gates. For the serpentine belts they were the Good Year Gatorbacks. I never in the entire time I worked there ever saw a good year belt come back through the door. All of the shops we delivered to loved the good year belts.

Another vote for Gatorback! I used them on my Bonneville SSEi with great success turning the blower and was sold from that point on.

We use wix belts and filters on both of our 50 HP air compressors at work and they seem to get the job done. I've never used wix on my vehicles though so IDK. If you have an O'Reillys or Advance nearby I'd check with them and compare prices. You might be pleasantly surprised.
