Wont Start, loss of power
I have a 2001 chevrolet blazer 4.3v6 2 door 2 wheel drive
when i get in to start up the blazer i turn the key to accessory position and everything is fine, when i turn to the start position the blazer just dies, looses all power like the battery is disconnected. i go and shake the battery and i get power back. anybody have a problem like this.

RE: Wont Start, loss of power
Does it have the factory AC Delco battery? If so, there is a problem with these batteries in that they seem to like to corrode inside the battery on the positive post. I had this same thing happen to my old Bravada. New battery and all was well again.

it has a new battery in it, i'm thinking the ground cable, but not sure why it would have power sometimes and not have power when i turn the key to start

RE: Wont Start, loss of power
The times when it doesn't start, does the security light in the dash light up?
