Default ZR2 wheels

Does the 2wd and 4wd use the same wheels. Are the ZR2 wheels different from the LS? I'm in the market for another set of wheels for seasonal use. I can score a full set at the u-pull-it yard at a decent price but cant return them if they don't fit. Any insight would be appreciated.

The 2wd rims stick out further then the 4wd rims on both s10 and blazers, zr2 included.

Don is right, the 2wd have a different offset, so they stick out on 4x4s.

ZR2, ZR5, LT, and LS rims will all fit on each other fine.

The only thing to look for is the ZR2 normally has 31" tires that won't fit on a stock blazer/pickup without rubbing.

Kind of looks like you have the newest style ZR2 rims on your rig already..

I just picked up an old set of the aluminum Blazer wheels for $25 each and stripped, cleaned and re-sprayed a lacquer coat on them. Wrapped them in the BF Goodrich all terrain KO's 31x10.50x15's.

Rides like a dream with the new tires.

And yes, I removed the spare tire carrier from the back and found an inside mount at a junk yard for $15. Found an all matching black tail gate for $75 that does not have the bracket on it as well.

Looks good, nice and clean... I come across the interior spare tire holders a lot. How does it hold up? How big is your spare? What did you do with the side holes?

The "back spacing" on the factory Zr2 rims is 6". Might be the same for other 4wd also. Anything less than that and the tires will begin to stick out beyond the fender flares. I changed back to stock rims after the aftermarkets with 4" of back spacing threw mud everywhere constantly and I got tired of washing the rig. Not sure what stock back spacing is for non ZR2 rigs and what has fender flares and what does not...
