Great article. I just noticed that my door doesn't lock. There is no noise coming out of the hatch/lid. Had someone hit the lock/unlock button while I paid close attention to any sound and nothing. Is there any fuses I should check and where can those be located? Thanks

We had this happen once in the parking lot when we bought a grill. We found a fuse under the hood had blown, I think it was a 3amp one.

If this is towards me, I'll have to check that out. I don't know what else to look for.

Same here! Drilled a hole thru the broken plastic blue actuator and ran a zip tie thru it.

Ok - but how about if the tailgate button itself is not activating the actuator? The glass will open if I use my remote or the release button on my dash, no problem there. It's just when I try to push the tailgate button that sometmes it opens right away and other times I have to keep pushing it for it to finally open. Any ideas.

The button itself is going bad.
