Front chassis ride height is technically part of a wheel alignment. If you want the alignment done correctly, it must be checked and adjusted if necessary, before adjusting camber, caster and toe. See post #139.

in a nut shell, 4 turns really wont hurt your tucks, yes it will add wear and tear but thats what happens when you lift a truck and put bigger tiers on it... just be prepared to buy some parts every now and again and you'll be fine...

I have a 2005 chevy blazer 2dr, what
About after market torsion keys and 2"
leaf springs??? Will I still go threw parts
Quicker even tho the torsion bars are
holding there weight?

If front chassis ride height is out of spec, (too high or too low) parts will wear prematurely.

Not sure of the 2nd generations but the 1st generations front axle/chunk can be lowered a little. If I remember correctly about 1 inch to help with angles on drive line (We used square tubing on the driver side and had to cut and re-weld the right side anchor points lower). We had to lower it a bit to do the V-8 swap on my 85. I then was able to crank the t-bars and get it back to the stock angles and achieve lift at the same time. Basically the same thing that lift companys do to lower the chuck but they do it with fancy brackets.

Rocking the truck to settle the adjustment I see...

But don't ya' wanna' spray lube in the joints to help out the 'settle', even before wrenchin' the bolts?
