Default Indicator Lamps for 4WD Floor Console (1995)

I had to replace both styles of 12 volt indicator lamps in the 4WD Shifter Floor Console (Manual Shifter) on my 1995.

I'm providing part numbers and info on replacing these lamps. Both have GM part numbers but may not be in local dealer stock.

Larger Lamp Assembly: Backlight and Car Axle/Wheel Icon light.

Generic #PC74 (with lamp holder) or Generic #37 (bulb only) both styles available from Chevy dealer or from auto parts stores like Advance, Napa, etc. This bulb is sold with or without lamp holder and just plugs right in. $1.50 each after-market or $3.00 from dealer.

Smaller Lamp Assembly: 2 HI, 4 HI, Neutral, & 4 LO indicator lights.

GM part #10159463 (bulb soldered into lamp holder). Radio Shack #272-1092 is small enough to fit the lamp holder and the bulb is an equivalent brightness. You will need to solder the leads into the original lamp holder. If your lamp holder is broken like mine, you can solder this lamp right onto the PC board. This part number is getting 5 star reviews at Radio Shack for being a great auto dashboard replacement for many makes/models. $1.79 for Radio Shack two-pack or $3.00 each from dealer.
