I found me a tire carrier and hopefully going to get it this weekend down in Iowa (we'll be down there anyway for my wife's grandma's 100th birthday) I'm hoping to have it installed in the spring, and if not, I should be able to make a little money off it. What's a good price for the carriers?

 

I'm probably going to weld the Wavian jerry can holder towards the hinges on my swing out carrier, what do you guys think?

 

I think between 50-100$ for the tire carrier... although they go for about 20ish at the yards, it's a demand for them that could get the higher dollar...

as for the Jerry holder, I was thinking of putting one around the same location on mine at some point.

 

Don is pretty spot on. They go for around 20-25 or so in the local you pull it yards. But I've seen them on Craigslist for as high as $250. If you are headed to Western Iowa, I could hook you up!

Something like this, except the wire frame of the carrier welded close to the hinge on our tire carriers for strength. If I can get it done on mine, you'll be the first person I show. I already have the Wavian holder on order.

It's the same thing as the Wavian. I don't mind paying a little extra though considering Wavian is the originator for these things.

 

How much is that in Merkin money? It seems like you can almost get a Rotopax jug for that price (when you include the can itself).
