01 radio up date
You will have to get a radio that is steering wheel control ready, and then look into the products from Pac-audio on how to interface with the factory controls. Not that hard, but time consuming, and you have to take the steering wheel apart to do it.
True with what hillbilly said, but you can also look into MTX's new line of steering wheel interfaces. They are called RE-Q. They retail at about $119.99 but you can get them for a lot cheaper. Lemme see what i can do for ya.
The reQ has nothing to do with his issue. From what I am reading into his post, he is adding a dvd/navigation unit to replace his factory unit. The reQ will not help him keep the steering wheel contols. The reQ is a glorified (although nice and I really like it) line output convertor.
It will boost bass frequencies at higher volumes with a factory deck.
