This is my first post on Blazer forums after the last month of lurking, I realized I have questions to ask and things to contribute. My Blazer is a 4dr 2001, and I'm having trouble finding a specific dash kit for it, hopefully someone here can clear this up for me.. I want to buy a 1din stereo and a 1/2din equalizer to use in the 1.5 din size opening. Is there a mount that can let me do this? I've read about the 2 din conversion, but I'd rather buy a single 2 din stereo if that was the case.

1. Thanks for the attitude it's appreciated
2. You've found it for the blazer? I've gone through the Scosche kits on walmart.com and haven't found one with that option. I've emailed crutchfield before asking for this specific kit, they said they didn't carry it.

Edit: Nvm reliazed my 95 blazer had the pocket + 1din. Your best bet is to prob buy a good headunit with a nice eq, a seperate powered eq to hook up to the rca's, or a double din hu.

check out crutchfield.com
That's where I picked up my single DIN headunit and complete mounting kit for the 1.5 DIN hole. Plus all instructions - all that came free with the headunit.
