Default 1996 blazer... DIN and a half? Or double DIN?

Do I have a double din size indash stereo or a din and a half size? I want to put an XO Vision xod1730 in but I'm not sure if it will fit. Please let me know.

You will have to cut out a little bit of you dash for a double din its not much you have to trim just a little bit!! Had to do that in a buddies for his alpine double din!!

A stereo shop very well might, I know chain places like CCity and Best Buy will probbbbabblyy say it won't fit and not install it for you. If you go out and talk to the installers first though they'll usually do it for ya. Although that is if the trimming is involving the front bezel piece area..if it's just that rear radio support that has to be modified, I'm sure they'll do it.

ive always wondered if it would fit, id like to do the double din DVD screen. instead of the flip up scenes how on our blazers (95-97) all have the shifter in the way of the head unit. a f

you have a din and a half radio. with the factory pocket under the radio, you would have to come up woth a mounting solution for the top and the bottom and you would lose the pocket for sure. it can be done. Ive done it.
