1993 Full size blazer, radio won't fit?
Used a Metra dash kit (Gray, which doesn't come close to matching the factory gray btw) and a pioneer deck. I can't get it to go all the way in. It's stopping against something, but I can't tell what. There's a metal bracket/stiffener, but it doesn't look like it'd be in the way. The wiring is tucked nicely.
What else am I missing? Is it possible it hits something in the HVAC ducting?
I can't see or feel from underneath without pretty much pulling all the ductwork out of there...
help?

Just done an install on a 95 and we had similar problems.
Behind the standard head unit on the lowerside is what looks like a duct, but is just used for cables (Grey plastic), above that is a fin to help hold the factory stereo in place.
We drilled holes into this grey plastic and then used cutters to get rid of the plastic. You'll also need to cut away plastic on the left corner that joins to the speedo casing and two ridges that go back to the bolt.
The aircon duct is at the top of the dash and shouldn't be messed with.
