Default 2000 Bravada Radio Swap

Does anyone know if it is possible to swap out the stock Bravada stereo w/o Bose system, with a double din RDS radio. I know that the radio would physically fit in the dash opening, but i am unsure if the plug would work. The only reason I am interested in doing the swap, is that with the RDS unit, there is a prevision for having an AUX input (when used with an aftermarket cord) and the Bravada unit doesnt. This is my 4th "Blazer" and i have done similar swaps with newer model radios but my older blazers were from the years 85, 91, and 94. I know that the 2000 isnt as easy as just cut the plug off and wire anything into it, as the newer stock radios require dealer programming. Does anyone know if this swap is possible???????

What is this about having an AUX input with the RDS?

Where, when, how, why!

It has nothing to do with the RDS, the RDS Double Din radio that comes in 03+ blazers would physically fit in my bravada, i just dont know if the plug will work, or if it would be able to have the dealer programming to work in my bravada. it is possible to have an aux input with the RDS radio with an adapter such as this
