Nice, Welcome to the forum.
Just a little tip here, caps help with nothing when it involves a stereo system. It has been proven, if you have any issues involving that, big 3 wiring upgrade, battery and alternator.

Voltage spikes are not what a cap is used for (if they actually worked)
Caps are used for voltage drops, they are there to give a quick discharge of volts to make up for a voltage loss.
But with how little they actually store and how quickly that is discharged, they are completely pointless.
That is why they are not recommended.
If you have no issues in your electrical system, there is no need for your cap and it really at this point is just an accessory.
