well my guess would be in the wiring. im not an expert on the stock wiring but if i recal when i installed my deck, the green wire was not the power wire.
ahh found a thread to aid in the wiring here

Fixed the problem.. It wasen't the RAP fuse it was a 10 amp rdo ing fuse in teh door jam... I traced the control wire all the way back to the headunit.. ran a volt meter across the wire and it should continuity so i tested the radio harness and the green wire and ground wasent showing any voltage but the orange wire and ground did so i traced it back to the fuse and that guy was burned out.. Fixed all my problems

I have a 01 S-10. i purchased stock speakers for the door. the speakers do not list a positive or negative, just an "a or b". i need to know what is positive or negative.
