Default 93 chevy blazer custom radio set ups!

Hello! New owner the a 93 chevy blazer. Love it! My car was a gift from a friend and its in super good condition except for the radio. No aux cable, only a couple speakers work, boring as hell driving in it! Ive been looking for pictures and tryin to see what other people have done with replacing stereo decks! Can you guys post some pictures of examples of what you guys made! Thanks!

Welcome from Wyoming ....

My vehicle is a morf { 4wd RX7 } but you can get creative - below my stereo all my lighting controls are mounted in a brushed aluminum panel. So if you have extra open area you could mount extra switches, gauges ECT. pretty much anything that will fit in the opening. Kits are also made to fill open areas if a smaller stereo than stock is installed.

The trouble with the old ones is that the depth is not for a full ISO rack. It lacks about 7/8" in depth to fit a decent full size ISO.

I have a temporary fix with some styrofoam spacer that I have simply covered with a black adhesive. Looks gross, but has been working for the last 6 years. So much for a temporary fix. LOL
