Default 96 Dash Speakers

Hey y'all...Got a pair of Sony speakers and a new Sony CDX-GT640UI from Crutchfield...(Crutchfield is God!!!)...went to get a pair of 4X6 speakers for the dash...opened up the speaker cover on the dash to see what or why for they never worked and nothing...no speaker no wires no nothing...WTF...was there any of these Blazers with different system set ups?...other than running wire, any suggestions

my 97 s10 was like that. you will have to run your own speaker wire. I think the premium audio came with tweeters up there but even if you had the tweeter wires only the tweeters on the 4x6's will work. in order to get the 4x6s working the way they should running wire is your only option.

Mine didn't have the wires either. It does now though. The previous owner put a set of polk audio ones up there. They are currently not hooked up, someday I will get around to putting in a crossover and using them for tweeters.

just tie in the dash speakers with your door speakers then you will have the full range
