Aftermarket Headset?!
Alright i currently have a 1997 Blazer LS.... Im looking to get a new headset for it as soon as i get it running. I looked at other peoples threads of here and everyone was going to this crutchfield website. So i went there.. And i found this. Car Selector
it says it fits exact. I found it on amazon for 38$. Is this website right? Is it worth it? Do you have any other headsets that would work better? Just leave a reply with an answer of some sort. Thanks.

When I first saw this thread I thought you were talking about headphones as I am a gamer, no headunit fits exact (other than possibly a double din). You will have to buy a dash install kit to hold the unit in the dash and fill the extra space so you don't have a hole in the dash. "Is it worth it?" That could go either way depending on personal opinion but to me, any new or properly working headunit is worth $38. If you have any questions on this kind of stuff you can message me (I have been doing this since before I had a license), I'm sure you will receive a lot of help from others on the forum as well.

So what you saying if i but this head-unit i should buy this also?-
Would that work with any head-unit installations?
And should i buy this also?
i can get a bundle with that installation kit, wiring harness, and the head unit itself for about 55$ with shipping.

You can probably go to the local WalMart or car audio store and get the stuff you need. As you've stated, you'll need the dash kit, which holds the stereo in place, unless you have a 1.5 or 2 din opening, which they make both of those size head units. After that, it's a matter of color matching wires. Good luck!
