I'm look at getting a new deck for my Jimmy and I came across these two on Kijiji. Both are fairly close to me. Has anyone on here used or seen either of these decks?

Pioneer DEH-P6100BT CD receiver at Crutchfield.com

Alpine CDA-9884 CD receiver at Crutchfield.com

The biggest reason for considering these two deck is the Ipod connectivity.

Before purchasing a new head unit, consider a few things. First, is it affordable. Second, does it offer/have the features you want. Third, if your stereo changes, ie, aftermarket speakers, amp, things like that, are you going to have to upgrade the head unit, if so, spend the extra money now and get the one that you can use as your stereo choices increase.

I got the Pioneer, seems to work great! And to your questions whyteboy 1. $50 is a pretty good deal for even a used head unit 2. I wanted a Ipod connection, and this one has a front usb with Ipod control. 3. This head unit will blow away any audio upgrades I do to my Jimmy (a single 12" is all I got planed for the next while)
