if both amps are set correctly, the alpine will blow the sony away.

You don't have to buy from best buy. It's too bad that sony dropped the red xplod line, how are they going to trick people into buying them? But if you do remember sony did make decent amps briefly back in the 90's, back when alpine took pride in there american made decks. They are both a shadow of there former selfs.

i know i dont have to buy from best buy but when pricing out this particular system that i just bought, best buy had it on sale this week and it was the best price. I usually dont buy my car audio from there but since it was the lowest price i decided to go wtih it.

i got a sealed box for the e's and i have both the sony amp and the alpine amp im gonna see which one sounds best and i have a pioneer 7800 deck.

I understand you got them on sale but is $200 your budget. I can tell you that the SONY is garbage, I also would not take the Alpine, but if those are your only two choices then stick with Alpine.
