Default RE: amp question?

You should be alright. It really depends on which sub and amp it is but I think it's safe to say you'll be okay. 15W isn't a big difference. I have a 750W RMS amp powering a 500W RMS sub and haven't had any problems at all...

Default RE: amp question?

well first of all thanks to both of you. Second, the amp is for my friend, he has two kicker subs so the amp would have two channels at 165 watts RMS. I just wanted to simplify my question so there wouldnt b any confusion. lol But i have a 15 inch Kicker L7 in my car 1000 watts RMS with my 1000 watt RMS amp to it and it is AMAZING!!!!
