Default Best brand of stereo?

I'm putting a car stereo in my 95 blazer. I'm putting in front and back speakers,2subs, and 2 amps (one for the subs and one for the door speakers). I plan on ordering off a discount online site, so their brands are limited...I need some opinions on what brand I should buy. Which brand has the best sound quality???
Almani, Audiobahn, Blaupunkt, Boss, Clarion, DHD, Diamond Audio, Eclipse, Hifonics, Infinity, Jenson, JL Audio, JVC, Kenwood, Kicker, Lanzar, Legacy, Lightning Audio, MB Quart, OZ Audio, Performance Teknique, Phoenix Gold, Pioneer, Polk Audio, Power Acoustik, Powerbass, Profile, Pyle, Pyramid, Rockford Fosgate, Scosche, Sony, SPL, Sound Storm, Total Mobile Audio, Visionik.
Right now Im kind of leaning towards Pioneer speakers andampwith a SPL and Power Acoustik Amp. ?
Thanks!!

no such thing as the "best" All manufacturer speakers have a different type of sound to them. Go to your local stores and audition all the brands you can. Find the ones that sound "best" to you. That is all that matters. I might recommend a brand that costs $5000 just for a simple pair of door speakers. But if you cant hear the difference between those and a cheap set of sonys, whats the point in wasting your money? Plus, its 75% in the install anyways. The best set of speakers in a crappy install will sound just as good as the wost set of speakers.

I would go buy some Scan-speak components! haha But you wont find those at any discount site.
But from your list Diamond is good sound, JL is good sound and thats about it for more of a SQ point of view.

I truly believe Alpine and Polk are some the best you can buy for the price of both. I had several combos of both thru the years, and have had nothing but great luck with them. I have also turned a few people into believers also. Might be a good place to start.

pioneer or eclipse HU's are awsome....id recommend finding someone who sells stereo integrity woofers and pick up a mag on a sundown 1000d.

I would agree that there is no "best brands" its a matter of "to each thier own" right? Ive had good luck with Pioneer and Kenwood
