I got a 300 W rockford fosgate amp for my 2001 4 door blazer but havent gotten to installing it yet. Whats the best place for it that will be out of sight and as close to the front of the car as possible for ease of installation?

 

Usually under the passenger seat is a good place for an amp like that. 300W won't heat up too much to be in that space. That's about as far forward as you can get without finding room inside the dash area or stuffing it in the center console.

Yeah I usually mount mine to the back seat of my vehicles.

 

I completely hid a cheap 300watt amp in the right rear quarter of mine to push an 8" :P but that's no where near the front of the vehicle obviously...
