Working on prepping the headliner, so when the tweed arrives I can just wrap it. Trying to figure out how to repair and strengthen the headliner. It's not in the best shape. Any ideas?

Get a new one. haha
But only thing i could think of is do some fiber glassing to repare the bad spots.
Now for dB Drag competition that would put you in Extreme if its glassed infront of the B pillars, and S MAx or SS if its done behind the B's only.
Chances are it wont matter and if you dont tell anyone they wont ask....its not like you are going to World Finals so its not a big deal. I only bring this up seeing as its in the audioz section.

I've put some resin in some areas so far. I'm just wondering if I should glass the whole damn thing or not. If I put like 1 or 2 layers of cloth over it to help. Yet not too stiff that it still might bend, I dunno. The only comp I will be entering will be just for fun to see what it does on the meter.

2 Layers of BXT on the roof then covered with ensolite. Also applied a little bit of expanding foam in some areas. Today I am just going to go start putting most of the interior parts back in.

Interior mostly back together. Not putting the rear piece of carpet in as I don't want to destroy it by drilling holes into when I mount the amps/box etc. Few things left to do, redo a couple things. Next project is to start on box. Really starting to miss bass.

Thanks. You never asked about the tweed before, or else I would have pointed you in the right direction :P I didn't take any pics of the carpet after steam cleaning it, it did come a bit cleaner. It's 20 years old and faded more than anything. With the headliner I just ended up polyester resining the broken areas and a couple other spots. Put down some new 1/4" foam then the tweed. One day I plan to do the dash, either wrapped or at least painted to match. Looked into getting the seats recovered but I don't have the $1,000 to do it. So for now they will have to do.

Really need to find an adhesive to use with a gun. $15 a can I think I've used about 12 or 13 of the damn things so far.
