Default Bypassing Bose amp by hardwiring???

Can I bypass my stock bose amp on my 2000 blazer? Do I just connect the eight door speaker wires and will there be an extra power and ground? Want it gone. And does anybody know about the tweeters, are they 1ohm and amped as well? Thanks for the help.

On a 2000 Blazer with Bose, (I have one too), the speakers do not have integral amps so they are not powered. the Bose Amp is in the console under the storage tray, Unless yo have the optional CD changer, then it is under the changer. I don't know the impedance of the speakers though.

Can i just cut out the two harnesses that go in and out of the amp and connect the speaker like together leaving the amp solo?

I had an issue w/ my stock Bose amp turning down my music when it was turned up. I have a kenwood HU & infinity speakers but the amp would go in to a safe mode & turn the volume way down. so I just made my own harness & gotta JL 300/4ch amp & mounted where the jack goes & she sounds sooo much better now that everything has been upgraded. I'd recommend just running your own harness/wires.. its a pain but worth it IMO.

I have a 2000 Bravada with the CD changer. I want to remove the changer because I never use it. The Bose amp is mounted underneath.

I bought a new liner for the center console (because the one I have has a big hole for the changer). A picture of the new liner is attached. The problem is that because of the Bose amp, the liner won't fit (it's too tall)!

Can anyone show me a picture of a center console without a CD changer but with a Bose amp?

Thanks.
