Default Have non-Bose/Bought Bose Whats the difference?

Ok so I have a question! I have a 2000 4x4 blazer. My factory Delco standard radio went out so I decided to just upgrade to a Bose/Delco receiver. Now I did this because it just looks better and I like the factory look, I'm not driving with the windows down wanting to shoot 2500watts during the summer... doesnt matter to me haha.. But is there any real difference between the standard delco versus the Bose version. They look exactly the same is it actually different, or is the head unit simply stamped with the Bose logo and its all in the amp and the speakers? And is there anything that I have to do as far as mods to make my new Bose unit funtion properly? I really appreciate the help from any one... I've spent two days trying to look up information online but i havent found anything!!!
