ok im debating on getting either a 5 farad cap from my friend for $100 or a 250 amp alternator...what would benefit me more?

hands down the alt. a cap is just a bandaid. the alt will give you the power you need now and prepare for when you need more later.

def. a better alt. It will help alot more than the cap. like boom said a cap is just a bandaid.

yea i talked to my cousin who does car audio and he said to do the alt. as well. So i think im going to go with a 250 amp alt. Thanks guys

go with a high output alt. before any thing u can't go wrong and remember that if u choose the cap u will need 1 farad for every 1000 watts u are pushing![sm=trust_me.gif]
