yea the pre-order is going on now for the SA-15s. They should be out sometime in Jan. I believe

And to even better the fact for my build, the number I'll be doing will be sealed up on the dash in the 30-35hz range lol

Default Newbie - Stereo - Blazer

Just bought my 02' Blazer (love it) and looking to replace the Deck. I have never bought an after market deck before and so I'm not super sure on what I should be looking for. I think I understand the whole 2din/1din thing but it looks like it may not be that simple for the Blazer (from what I have read on here). Sorry if I'm repeating anything that has been previously posted.

Features that I would like:

- Definitely Bluetooth included.
-Ipod capable as well (preferably to control from the deck itself)
- I would love a DVD player as well with navigation (go big or go home right? lol) - (this is where I run into the 1din/2din problem)

Any suggestions or information on specs I should be looking for in order to get a good quality deck for my $, would be very helpful!

Well if you have money to spend i'd suggest getting a double din in dash touch screen. Kenwood and Alpine make excellent ones. But there are also cheaper ones out there.

Theres also the single din flip out option. Many people choose against this though because the flip-out mechanism tends to break down after excessive use. But, an upside to flip-outs is that they are much cheaper than in-dash touch screens.

A good site that has great prices is http://www.sonicelectronix.com. Take a look around and see what they have [:

So 2din will work? I wasn't sure and couldn't find the specs/measurements online for the difference between 2din and 1din.

Thanks for your help!
