I actually had a sq setup that ran kicker subs and it did very well. But then again they were the orig solo's. Round Solos FTW

Default Speakers for audio

Here is a twist on an issue. My wife decided to start audio books on the drive to work and back. The voice of the "reader" is low and mono tone. I believe this led to booming of stock speakers "monsoon" equip. They became blown out and staticky. Ever heard that. With stock radio any ideas for replacements. Too old to know tech stuff.

1 inch mdf, i wonder which way the subs are going to fire?

since this is car audio discussion, i was playing juicebox the other day and put my hand on the box and it has a decent amount of vibration going on, i mean its 5 cubes with no internal bracing besides the port, and ive never seen the box flex. 3/4 mdf

but anyway my amps are screwed to it, little worried about it now, ill have to find some rubber washers i guess. but i did read that the 1500d's have some wicked strong solder joints

understandable. i still believe in not mounting the amps to the box if its more than 500 watts. its just another spot to leak air out of in my head so i try to avoid it.

Btw, Blazin, post a picture of that box. i never saw it

i just saw the log cabin aspect of the blazer Jag.

Id get some bracing inside that box, but still take the amp off and mount it somewhere else.
