Anyone have any reviews on these? thinking about getting a pair...also at 14.4v my amp will put out about 3500 watts. this is probably a dumb ? but will they handle that power daily??

Those 35's will take that power like a champ. I know guys who are running one off a zx2500 and some who are running them off Orion 2500D's. Just make sure that you have the power for that MA amp. they will fry if voltage drops too low, and they do suck the current.

and why does low voltage kill amps? cant they put in some sort of protection when the voltage drops below a certain level? If im at idle with my volume up to 75% that needle gets purdy darn close to 10 volts.....and the readings on my amp say i drop below 11 volts on hard bass hits......

As the voltage drops, the current goes up to do the same job... Too much current and things start to melt and such...

As for why there's no protection for that kind of thing... Who can say? I just know that some things are a lot more sensitive to over/under voltage than others...
