Does a 95' thru 97' stock CD interchange with a 93' / 94'
Recently I've been doing a bit of research on stock AC Delco CD players for Impala's, and noticed that the 94' Impala and 94' S-10 Tahoe is nearly identicle. I looked a bit further and noticed that the 95's are the same and appear to have the same mounting plates.
So here is my question. Has anyone ever installed a stock AC Delco from a 95' thru 97' into a 93' - 94'? The mounting plates appear to be the same. On Malibu's and Tahoe's (97' thru 02') the plates are located on the side. 95' - 97' Blazers have them on the top.
The harnesses appear to be nearly identical as well. My main concern is the faceplate and the depth.
