Door Speaker Replacement
I never thought that replacing the door speakers would be the first mod. However, a few days with all that crackling and I was running out to Future Shop for a new set of 6.5" speakers. Such an improvement when it comes to just living with the truck. I figure I'd post this since I couldnt find the information anywhere and my wiring left me scratching my head. For Canadian market Blazers the wiring is different to our speakers. The drivers door is wired light yellow negative and brown positive. In the passanger door you'll find the light blue wire is negative and the dark blue wire is positive. If you're still unsure you can always use a D battery to test polarity.

No one will ever even notice.

To add on to this, (US Blazer) I was pretty shocked when I took the paneling off of the back doors (4 Door, 2000 Blazer LS) because unlike the front, the wires are soldered onto the speaker unlike the front doors which if you have a wiring harness is just plug and play.
Just a heads up to anyone that wants to change their rear door speakers.

I got really lucky with mine. They had 4 holes in nearly the same location as my factory speaker mounts. Didnt fit 100% but with a bit of a twist they went in to the factory holes with the factory hardware. Havent had any problems yet.
