Electrical Question
Well I'm wondering if I'll have enough electrical for my near future plans, which include:
1 sundown 1500D @ 1 ohm---1600rms
1 sundown sax100.2 or other small front stage amp 200rms
1/0 wiring, including big 3
150 amp anl fuse for the big guy
dual optima yellow tops----locally available
stock alt
will be running 2 12" type r's at 800 each in roughly 5-6cubes slotted around 32hz
front will still be my JL's unless they cant keep up
so I guess just under 2000rms

RE: Electrical Question
The dual optimas will help a lot. I think you should be fine with that. I swapped out my battery to a blue top in my jimmy with the saz1500, and the voltage drops are way less. I still need to upgrade the big 3 though.

hmm, interesting.......whats the ca and cca on them?
I just saw in a flyer red tops dropped from $198-$148 but it didnt list the specs.......I want 1000cca if possible......extra juice when its -45 is nice.

RE: Electrical Question
900cca is more than enough... or should be, anyway, lol, it's not that big of an engine to turn over...
Heck, my old S10 would fire up on 200CCA, lol
