Default Finally got my box finished...

so I finally got tired of the 1.5cu vented enclosure I had in my cargo area taking up most of the space... so after looking at a few others setups I copied them adn made a .65cu sealed enclosure. single type R 10" that is about 9 years old being powered by a Crossfire VR-401 that is also about 9 years old... But hey it gives me the bass I want...

Yay ME!

That's how it's done. Nice job, was this your first one?

Oh no. just the first one for THIS truck.... Normally I build them with a slot port, but didnt have the space for that in the Jimmy. next spring I will make another one out of fiberglass so that it will fit the contours a bit better, and hopefully I can get it to 1.25-1.5 cu so i can vent it. the sealed sounds good, but I miss the deep resonating bass from the ported enclosures.

Yup looks good. I'm working on a fg one for 2 8's. Barely squeezing ~1.2ft before the wheel well.

nice! I think I've gotten the box building down but I'm still a little sloppy with covering them... How long did it take you to build it up and everything?

took about 4 hours. I made the back way to elaborate, it is 4 pieces cut at angles to fit into the corner a bit better. If I had to do it again, I would just make it a bit taller and do the back pieces at 90 degree angles.

the box I built in my 4runner I tried to keep it simple. I used a roto zip to cut out my wheel wells to make a bottom support and mounted the box on top (well amp rack)
