Default Finally got my amp rack/Sub box Finished

I've been working on a fibreglass amp rack/sub box for my Blazer for several months now. Its not that it took that long to build, its just getting enough time to work on it. Anyways here's a couple of pictures of the finished piece. I still need to make the trim piece for the amps and to paint the end-caps for the amps. I love the new setup. It sounds way better than the MDF sub box I had in there before. It plays deeper and hits harder. I'm not sure if its just positioning or slightly different enclosure volumes. Anyways I'm pretty happy.

I have a few pictures of the build process if anyone is really interested. Bobditts did a great fibreglass writeup so I'm not concerned about posting them unless people really want to see them.

Looks nice. You might want to use your cargo cover to cover your equipment.

I did not know you could carpet the fiberglass boxes. I need to make something like that for my box. The thing is a BEAST! Takes up 50% of my trunk. Tomorrow I will take pictures of it.

I purposely made the box so that I can still close the cargo cover. I appreciate the comments.

Almost anything can be carpeted if you have the right adhesive and prepare the surface properly. I'm planning on making a trim plate that will cover the seam between the amps, the edge of the enclosure, and next to the seat back. I also have a grill for the sub that I'm covering with grill cloth to hide the sub too. I do a lot of camping and hauling things in my Blazer so I needed to keep things as out of the way and durable as possible.
