Default finally finished my front end.....for now

over the summer i hacked the air dam off my front bumper and added a two inch body lift. im sure alot of you know this leaves an ugly gap. spent a bit of time in the shop today and fabbed up a new plate and got rid of those ugly hooks lol

I like...

but instead of having chains welded to the 2" receivers I'd throw some slugs with shackles in there.

im not worried about the strength of the chains at all. im an ironworker and i use chain all the time for lifting and such. im also a cwb certified welder so im not worried about the welds. shackles would look alot better, but im cheap lol chain laying around the shop is free. and its "custom" so i can brag lol. i didnt use a break to make the bends in this i cut about halfway through with a zip disc, bent it as far as that would let me then ran the disc along again and repeat till your happy with the bend. couple of tacks and roberts your mothers brother. ill look into putting a how too together.
