Four-way flashers

RE: Four-way flashers
Hey Kyle: http://www.galls.com/style.html?asso...9&cat=2707, also those lights with moving reflectors are called rotators, here in Wi [sm=smiley14.gif]. I had the headlight flashers that would not turn the bulbs off, it would just dim them down to almost off, so it was not as hard on them. Yeah, about the signal changer, WOW my district would NOT allow that at all in the personal vehicles, besides that it does not slow you down that much going through a red light, at least not in my city, I have never had a problem going through them here. All of our first out rigs have them for the busy intersections, but like Kyle said the liability is HUGE, but the idea of having one is kinda cool, that is for sure. Korey

Ha, hm. Around here, wig-wags are the rotators that don't go all the way around. But we don't have flashing headlights, just a crap load of other lights. Learn somethin' new everyday. LOL

Yeah, that just tells you how much the lingo can change in just a few hundred miles!! But I do agree with you Kyle, that LED's are the way to go. Programable, and BRIGHT!!! Cannot beat that, that is for sure! Korey.

RE: Four-way flashers
thanks for the information guys, i feel enlightned. i found a great strobe set online for $199.99 USD. power supply, wiring, 6 strobe heads, 6 15' cables, and power harness. the only thing u have to buy is the switches....installation looks easy, the only thing that looks the hardest is to wire it to the battery or fuse...
