Default Emergency flashers not working!!

I have a 77 Blazer used for plowing snow...first year to have this truck. My emergency flashers will not work. My turn signals still work. Checked all the fuses under dash. Does anyone know if they use the same flashers unit for both turn signals and emercency flashers or guide me in the right direction. When I turn the flashers on both turn signal indicators light up but no flashly lights outside on the truck...Thanks for any help and glad I found this forum.

Ohh and by the way...all other lights work properly....turn signals, running lights, brake lights, headlights.

And I have not altered the trucks wiring with my plow....All I have extra is a set of top mounted hella's with a relay going to a toggle switch inside so I can see when I plow.

Thanks again

You have 2 signal flasher units....one for the signals and one for the emergency flashers.
They should both be located close to each other on the fuse panel
