You said the words I've been looking for - warm, rich sound. I'm a guitar player who's a freak about his tone. I use old Fender tube amps, known for their warm, rich sound. So to bring that sort of tone inside my Blazer 4dr would be exactly the sort of sound description I'm looking for.

I read up on the JVC, seems like a nice HU. But being as I'll be buying off of Ebay, it's running about $30-50 more than the Pioneer or Kenwood stuff. Not saying this is a deal breaker at the moment, but depending on the rest of the system, it's a possibility. I've got other issues in the Blazer to attend to as well, so the sound system is part of my whole investment/budget.

anyone else have any favorite HU's under $200 with bluetooth, front usb port and mp3 capability?

You're missing out. The Alpine HU I bought for $300 needs nothing other than the stock speakers IMO and does it all. I much prefer the USB down low and not right in the faceplate. See here:

Thanks Curt, you got a steal on that HU. The cheapest price I can find is $500, which out of the question. How's the display on that thing in sunlight? I bet it's hard to see.
